  • 11G176 Thermostat blanking sleeve
    Removal of the thermostat helps to reduce engine temperature, however a thermostat blanking sleeve should be fitted to maintain correct coolant circulation to the entire head. Failure to do so will cause overheating around #3 and #4 combustion chambers, with obviously disastrous results. When the blanking sleeve is used it is also necessary to blank off the by-pass hose (not found on late heads) between the head and water pump.

    Lower radiator bracket for one piece cowl. Uses horizontal bolt 12G4270 to attach to engine mount. This is the round nose mini bracket, Clubman version is at a different angle

    11 blade plastic fan, one of the most efficient fans ever fitted to a Mini. This fan pushes a lot of air with very little noise. Old fans with curled blades will have seriously compromised cooling campared to a new fan. It's also crucial to ensure the fan is fitted the correct way around.     Especially for more powerful and hotter running engines. Developed using the latest technology and design for increasing air flow, utilizing just two rows of very large tubes and V shaped gills.

  • C-GZA2083BLACK Silicone bypass hose
    Silicone bypass hose that can be removed and reused many times. These seem to last forever! After a series of failures caused by poor quality rubber hoses, particularly the concertina type pipes which seem to perish after only a few months, we switched to these silicone hoses. The water pump will need to be removed to fit this hose to a built up engine but the advantage is you will never need to worry about changing it again. Supplied with a pair of hose clamps to suit

  • CHS2515 Thermostat stud
    Thermostat stud for all minis prior to injection cars. It's not uncommon for the thermostat housing to be corroded solid onto these requiring it to be smashed off for replacement. These studs can also be used on the inlet manifold for HS4 and HIF carbs. Uses 5-16UNFNUT nut. Sold singly

  • GRC101 Radiator cap - long neck type
    Long neck radiator cap, as fitted to early 850s which have a deeper filler neck on the radiator
  • GRC1111 Radiator cap - non recovery system
    Radiator cap for non recovery system. If own a pre injection mini then this is the most common cap to use. Only exception is early 850's which may require a deep neck cap GRC101 if the radiator is still the original factory unit. Most places will hook you up with the later recovery style cap which is incorrect and will allow coolant to escape when fitted to a sealed system
  • GRC1184 Expansion tank cap for 1996 onwards cars
    Screw on cap for twin point injection cars from 1996 on. This cap fit to the expansion tank on this model and originated from the the Mini Metro. This special cap is made to allow water /pressure to escape and should be checked periodically.
  • GRC207 Radiator cap -  recovery system type
    Radiator cap for recovery system. If your mini's radiator has an overflow pipe AND overflow bottle then this is the cap to use, as per SPI minis etc. Externally looks the same as a sealed system cap but has an additional seal

  • GTR104 Temp transmitter - Cooper S & Deluxe 1964-1969
    Most minis with dual gauges up to 1969 including Cooper S Mk2 with oil and temp gauges fitted used this sender when fitted with a voltage stabiliser.

    Minis before Sept 1964 except some super deluxe and pre Sept 1964 Cooper without voltage stabiliser used GTR102.

    After 1969 use GTR101.

    Another guide is that the gauge for this had a pointed bezel but if you have the later rounded bezel type from 1970 on try GTR101 if readings seem wrong.

    High quality higher capacity pump fitted with a PPS, glass filled plastic impeller as used by Aston Martin and Jaguar which reduces weight on the bearing loading and has a triple lip seal giving a better controlled flow rate through the rev range. This pump is about 130g lighter than standard type and has the rolled edge gasket facing evolved by Rover for better sealing. Tested with coolant pumping at 10,000 rpm with no detriment to the PPS impeller, this larger impeller pump moved more coolant than the original early GWP132 standard pump and is the only brand pump we now sell
