The Verto clutch/flywheel component is different from earlier Minis and has an integral lockwasher

Verto clutches are identified by the very short clutch arm (DAM5355) and feature the slave cylinder mounted pointing downward on a steel plate (DAM5992)

We would highly recommend replacing the clutch flexi hose also. It is very common for hoses to swell with age which restricts flow and makes pedal feel stiff. Hose to suit is GVP1009

If the clutch pedal becomes stiff or is slow to return it is a symptom of a failing clutch flexi hose. This hose will cure the problem
